The DAC7801KUG4 is a 12-bit monolithic Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC) for use in low-cost instrumentation and data acquisition equipment. The DAC7801KUG4 is manufactured using a standard CMOS process and provides very low-noise and high-accuracy analog outputs. It is ideal for use in sampling systems, signal multiplexers, and digital-to-analog signal converters. It also works great in automation control systems and control device data acquisition applications.The DAC7801KUG4 is designed to operate over a temperature range of -40 to +85°C and is available in a compact 8-pin SOIC package. The DAC7801KUG4 is specified over an extended temperature range of -40 to +125°C and offers outstanding performance over temperature.The DAC7801KUG4 is a precision Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC) with a 12-bit resolution and up to 16-bit inputs. It offers a wide voltage range from 2.5V to 5V, making it perfect for battery-powered applications. The DAC7801KUG4 offers single and dual outputs for use in applications requiring simultaneous voltage and current outputs. It also offers an integrated reference voltage, eliminating the need for an external reference source.The DAC7801KUG4 can be used to convert digital signals from 12-bit data sources into accurately scaled analog voltage and/or current outputs. Digital signals from microprocessors, controllers, and other sources are stored in a DAC\'s internal memory. Depending on the conversion application, the DAC7801KUG4 can read up to 16 user-defined digital words and convert them into a corresponding set of analog voltages or currents. The output range is programmable and can be easily programmed using a single or two supply rails.The DAC7801KUG4 offers very low noise performance and excellent accuracy over temperature. Its high linearity and excellent noise performance make it ideal for applications such as thermoelectric cooling (TEC) systems, discrete linear positioners, and servo actuator control. The DAC7801KUG4 also offers an integrated reference voltage, eliminating the need for an external reference source.The working principle of the DAC7801KUG4 is simple. The input signals are clocked into the device, and the output voltage or current is determined by the state of the digital inputs.
