One application of the DAC8565IAPWG4 is the production of an analog output when the signal cannot be generated locally. The DAC8565IAPWG4 can convert digital input signal into an analog signal ranging from 0 to 20V with a full-scale accuracy of 16 bit.

The DAC8565IAPWG4 supports a wide range of input logic such as LVDS, LVCMOS, and TTL compatible. The device is programmed using an SPI requiring only a four-wire interface including the SPI clock, chip select, data in, and data out. The device also allows for a low Jitter mode where the SPI Clock can be selected to 50MHz or lower.
The DAC8565IAPWG4 provides differential outputs with two selectable unipolar ranges. For the unipolar operation the DAC8565IAPWG4 will provide a range of 0 to +2V to 0 to +20V. The differential output channels consist of two differential outputs, allowing it to act as a two-channel DAC or a two-input single-output device.
