Under the control of an external clock, the RLN receives data (a binary input) and adjusts its internal resistor values to create an analog voltage waveform with 8-bits of resolution according to the input data. The waveform buffer amplifies this waveform and removes spikes or any other noise, providing a clean waveform at the output.
