DAC8832EVM-PDK is an evaluation module for the DAC8832 digital-to-analog converters (DACs). The DAC8832EVM-PDK was designed by Texas Instruments, Inc. to provide an easy-to-use platform for evaluation of its DAC8832 DAC. This evaluation module features a three-stage evaluation platform which allows designers to setup prototypes and evaluate the DAC performance without soldering or needing to purchase components.

The DAC8832EVM-PDK provides two evaluation platforms, the Class A/S-Junction DCT and the ROIC Test Fixture. The ROIC Test Fixture is designed to enable the evaluation of the ROIC\'s performance with the DAC8832 DACs. The ROIC Test Fixture is an easy-to-use platform to facilitate rapid prototyping of ROIC evaluation and design.

The DAC8832EVM-PDK comprises two Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs), the front-end PCB and the Backplane board. The Front-end PCB carries the DAC8832 DAC and its associated components, as well as the analog reference circuitry and the calibration connectors. This board also houses the Texas Instruments\' Code Composer Studio (CCS) Core Graphical User Interface (GUI), which provides support for the DAC8832 DAC. The Backplane board carries the digital interfaces, power connections, and provides access to the I/O connectors.

The DAC8832EVM-PDK supports a wide range of power levels from 2.7 V to 5.5 V. It features both full-swing and low-swing digital signal inputs for flexibility in interfacing with various signal sources. The evaluation module supports out-of-range outputs for both binary and linear procedures. It also offers a variety of input and output programming and calibration options.
