D-sub connectors, a type of data and signal connector, are widely used to transmit digital, analog, and mixed signals for modern electronic communication and automation systems. The DAUE15P is a special connector in the D-sub family, featuring a male plug with 15 pins on each side. This type of connector is most often seen in server, telecommunication, medical, and industrial components.

The most basic working principle of DAUE15P connectors is that they are a type of contact terminal. A male plug on one side of the connector is inserted into an attached female socket on the other side and relevant pins are inserted to make a secure connection. At the other end of the DAUE15P connector is a female socket, which is constituted of two metal contact pins and an insulation gasket. The two metal contact pins are also arranged in two rows of nine pins and a single row of six pins. The insulation gasket provides a physical barrier to ensure that the electrical connection cannot occur if the male plug is not properly inserted.

Finally, when the DAUE15P connector is connected, an electrical current can flow from one side of the connector to the other. This current is then able to travel through the male plug and into the female socket, providing an effective transmission of data or current from one side to the other.
