DB-TSSOP-LPC938 is an evaluation board based on Philips LPC938 Core Microcontroller. The LPC938 microcontroller family is based on the ARM7 core and Philips core architecture. It is suitable for high density applications such as industrial control, office automation, automotive and home automation.
DB-TSSOP-LPC938 evaluation board has an 8-bit data bus, a 16-bit address bus, 8KB on-board ROM, 8KB of RAM, and an external crystal oscillator. It has an on-board debug and power supply on the board.
It has two 16-bit timers, an 8-bit PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) timer, a SPI (Serial Peripheral Interface) port, an I2C (Inter-Integrated Circuit) port, an I/O port, and a UART (Universal Asynchronous Receiver/Transmitter). In addition, it also has two A/D ports (Analog-to-Digital converter) which can be used to read data from external analog sources.
The DB-TSSOP-LPC938 evaluation board uses the LPC938 core microcontroller based on the ARM7 core. The core is designed to deliver performance while keeping power consumption to a minimum. It supports 32/16/8-bit instruction set and offers various features such as memory protection, interrupt handling and low power modes.
The microcontroller has four buses: the local bus, the N-bus, the Z-bus, and the DMA (Direct Memory Access) bus. The most commonly used buses are the N-bus and DMA bus. The N-bus is used for simultaneous access to main memory, while the DMA bus allows multiple ICs to share resources by providing a separate bus for each IC.
The DB-TSSOP-LPC938 evaluation board has a boot loader that allows the user to program and debug the microcontroller using an on-board JTAG (Joint Test Action Group) port. The JTAG port can be used with standard debugging tools such as Keil or IAR. The debug port can also be used for field programming.
The DB-TSSOP-LPC938 evaluation board is an excellent evaluation platform for embedded systems development. It allows users to develop applications quickly and easily. The evaluation board provides all necessary tools for developing applications with the LPC938 core process.
