The DB103-G bridge rectifier is made up of four diodes arranged in a bridge configuration and an SIP-3 package. The two positive AC inputs are connected to opposite corners of the bridge and the two negative inputs are connected to the other two corners. The positive and negative outputs are then connected to the two remaining corners.When an alternating current is applied to the two positive inputs of the bridge rectifier, current flows in the top diode and out of the bottom diode. When the current reverses, the diagonally opposite diodes switch on and the current flow is reversed. In this way, a full-wave rectified output can be obtained from the two output terminals.Advantages
The DB103-G is a bridge rectifier with a voltage rating of up to 1000 volts and a current rating of up to 1A.
