DC1707A belongs to DC/DC and AC/DC (Off-Line) SMPS evaluation boards. Usually these boards are used for evaluating the performance of off-line switching power supply. The primary application field of DC1707A is high efficiency, high current density, wide input voltage range and cost effective DC/DC and AC/DC (off-line) power supply.
DC1707A is a complete solution that integrates the main power section, the microcontroller section and the peripheral sections. It has an input voltage range of 88V to 264V AC that enables it to operate in different power systems. DC1707A has an integrated measurement controller unit that measures the input and output voltage, current and temperature. It also includes a 3.3V regulator which provides power to external peripherals like drivers and I/O ports. The board is also connected to an external power supply/PCB through the power connector.
The working principle of DC1707A board is based on the power conversion process, which is the process of converting one type of power to another type of power.
