The DC1725A evaluation board is a power supply or AC/DC off-line SMPS solution designed to provide efficient power for a variety of modern devices. As the market for portable and rapidly growing consumer electronics expand, newer and more efficient methods of power solutions are being sought out. Today\'s power supplies have become increasingly compact and efficient, and the DC1725A is no exception. It is an optimized, reliable off-line switching power supply solution with excellent performance, suitable for a variety of applications.
The DC1725A evaluation board includes a wide range of features, including wide input voltage and frequency ranges, advanced protection against over-voltage, over-current, and short-circuit conditions, and powerful switching performance. It also features low-standby losses and ±8% adjustment of the output voltage. This evaluation board is built with PFC and our latest Zero-Voltage Switching (ZVS) technology, which allows for a much reduced EMI emission. It can provide up to 189.5W of continuous power, and a maximum peak of 199W.
The board is based on the SEPIC principle, which combines buck and boost converter circuits to provide power sources with both positive and negative voltage from DC sources. In other words, the SEPIC scheme is a controllable power supply that is able to generate two different voltages from a single DC source. This principle is used to achieve the highest efficiency and highest power conversion when transforming a single DC input voltage into multiple AC output voltages. The DC1725A evaluation board features PFC and ZVS technology to provide a wide range of output voltage and current, allowing you to design a power supply for a variety of modern devices.
The DC1725A evaluation board is extremely easy to setup and includes all the necessary components. It is built with a push-and-pull circuit, meaning that the MOSFETs can be connected in parallel or series for increased power outputs. The board also includes a digital voltage control circuit to adjust the output voltage up or down ±8%. The board has a variety of protections, including over-voltage, over-current, and short-circuit protection. The board also features a low-standby losses and maximum peak power of 199W, making it ideal for a variety of consumer electronics applications.
