DC1774A-A is an evaluation board from Linear Tech\'s LTC family of op amps. It has a wide range of applications, including current sensing, control circuitry, voltage monitoring, battery charging, analog and digital input conditioning and noise reduction. It can also be used for current measurement, differential mode gain control and voltage-to-current converters. The evaluation board is capable of operating with a supply voltage ranging from 8 V to 30 V and a range of load current from 1 mA to 100 mA.

DC1774A-A is designed to test the performance of LTC family op amps with up to 16 channels. It is based on a Dual input, 8-channel voltage-controlled amplifier. The amplifier rate at the input stage is set by resistor-programming. The output stage uses two high-frequency digital-to-analog converters (DAC) with 12 bit resolution. The Digital-to-Analog modulator has a maximum sampling frequency of 400 kHz. This allows for high speed response, as well as prevents clipping and distortion.

DC1774A-A integrates A/D and D/A converters in the signal path. This ensures a low noise environment and high accuracy results.
