DC290A-B is a type of evaluation board for DC/DC and AC/DC (off-line) SMPS power supplies. It can be used to evaluate and demonstrate the performance and characteristics of power supplies, and to facilitate the development of new power supplies. The DC290A-B contains two output stages, a buck regulator and a push-pull boost regulator. The buck regulator is capable of supplying up to 1.5A of output current and it can be set from 0.9 to 5V in 0.1V increments. The push-pull boost regulator is capable of supplying up to 6A of output current and it can be set from 6 to 32V in 0.1V increments.
