DC364A-B evaluation and demonstration boards and kits from Texas Instruments are a TI Versa technology based development platform that designers can use to quickly develop cost-effective, portable and battery powered designs. It is the perfect platform to develop innovative products for a wide range of applications including industrial, automotive, medical, networking and entertainment.The DC364A-B boards and kits are based on the TMS320C6748 digital signal processors. This is the latest in the TI Versa technology processors and is specifically designed for applications that require high performance, low power consumption and portability.The DC364A-B boards and kits provide all the necessary components to develop a complete system. It includes a power management board, a data converter board, a display controller board and a universal serial bus hub. The boards and kits can be used together or independently and can be connected to various external devices for debugging and system-level integration.The board is powered by the TI Versa TMS320C6748 processor and the board uses an on-chip dual-core architecture. The processor has a clock speeds of up to 300 MHz and can execute multiple instructions in parallel. The board also includes the Texas Instruments TI-ELMA MMCX Ethernet controller to provide a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet connection. This makes the DC364A-B board and kits an ideal solution for a wide range of applications that require high performance, low power consumption and portability.The board also includes the TI-AEC technology which includes a motion coprocessor, an audio and video coprocessor, a memory interface and a systems interface.
