The reference clock comprises of a Low Phase Noise Synthesizer (LPNS) and a Programmable Reference Clock Generation Circuit (PRCGC). The LPNS produces the reference signal and the PRCGC controls the reference clock with the input from the external controller or processor. The clock frequency can be programmed through the reference clock port.
The DC539B also includes a customizable power and thermal management system. The board includes a high-efficiency synchronous buck converter, adjustable linear regulator, low noise shunt regulator, low dropout linears, and current limiters. The power and thermal management system enables dynamic adjustment of the operating conditions of the device.
