DCP010505BP Application Field and Working Principle
DCP010505BP is a high-efficiency synchronous buck DC-DC converter which is a regulated non-isolated converter. Its input can achieve up to 48 V, the output is 0.6 V to 5 V adjustable, adjustable ripple is below 20 mV, and the adjustable power is up to 10 W. The output current that can be caused at the same time can be up to 5A, while the conversion efficiency can reach up to 97%. Its switching frequency can be externally adjusted from 100 KHz to 500 KHz, and its operating temperature range is -25°C to +85°C. It is suitable for applications such as distributed power supply systems, telecom, data centers, office equipment, and test equipment.
The working principle of the DCP010505BP DC DC converter is that the input direct current is converted to a single-phase synchronous rectifier DC output by a single-phase synchronous rectifier circuit. The operating principle of the circuit is as follows. The input current is rectified by the input diode and enters the inductor L1. At the same time, the switching transistor Q1 is turned on. When the current through the inductor L1 reaches a certain value, the control circuit will stop the turn-on of the switching transistor Q1, and the diode D2 is configured in parallel with the inductor L1 and the diode D1 to change the forward current of the inductor L1 to the reverse current. The reverse current is added to the capacitor C1, which is connected to the output terminal OUT through the output voltage, thereby supplying a stable DC output power.
In addition, in order to improve the efficiency of the DCP010505BP DC DC converter, the synchronous rectification driver IC SG5107 is applied to realize conduction and reflux loss reduction, reduce the heat dissipation of the diode, and improve the overall efficiency of the module. Moreover, the module reduces output ripple and noise caused by output voltage regulation.
