D-Sub connectors are widely used as a type of electronic connectors having two or more parallel rows of pins or sockets. These devices are mainly used for joining the two cables or printed circuit boards with each other. As a popular type of connector family, the DDUE50S models are available in different sizes and shapes. Generally, regular DDUE50S connectors come in 4, 9, 15, 25, 37 and 50 positions. However, two or more connectors can also be combined together for accommodating higher pin counts.

DDUE50S connectors are usually composed of three primary parts including housing, backshell, and contacts. The main body or housing of a DDUE50S connector has a unique shape for accommodating the number of pins or sockets that have been determined for the particular application. Generally, it is designed so that it will help the user to easily connect and disconnect the two separate cables or boards without causing any kind of physical damage.
