The DEV-14281 is an evaluation board made with embedded microcontrollers and DSPs in mind. It comes with a set of peripherals and interfaces to make it user friendly, cost-effective, and easy to use. This board will provide the user with a tested and comprehensive platform for developing and evaluating applications for microcontrollers or DSPs.

The interface consists of two FTDI basic breakout boards, providing 10/100 Ethernet, 4 USB (RX/TX), 4 general purpose I/O, SPI and UART control. The FTDI basic breakout boards can support multiple power supply inputs, with 4.5V to 5.5V supplied through an 8-pin connector. It also features an external 3.3V DC voltage regulator, which can be used to generate a 3.3V power supply for external peripherals and circuitry.

The board also comes with a Nordic nRF8200 Wireless SoC, which is an embedded system-on-chip (SoC) with an ARM Cortex-M4F processor. It features an onboard radio, which can be used to connect and operate wireless nodes. The board integrates an I2C interface, allowing users to easily interface with external components and sensors.

The DEV-14281 evaluation board has a USB-based debug system, which can be used to communicate with a PC and allows for debugging and program download. It also provides a display, user buttons, and a reset button, making it easier for the user to interact and evaluate the board.
