DF005MA-E3/45 Application Field and Working Principle

The bridge structure causes one of the current paths to be in forward direction, while the other one is in reverse direction. This enables the device to convert AC to DC, by allowing only the positive cycles of the AC signal to pass through, and blocking the negative cycles.The main working principle of DF005MA-E3/45 is diode rectification. The cycle contained by the alternating current is split in the bridge rectifier into two waves, with the negative cycles being completely blocked. The positive cycles form one output channel, while the zero crossings form the other channel.
