Fixed Inductors

A fixed inductor is an electronic component, used mostly in radios and in power supplies. It consists of an inductor, an iron core and usually two sets of windings to increase inductance. Its main functions and uses are to block high-frequency signals, to provide a buffer between two parts of an electrical circuit, to regulate current and to decrease noise.
