Working Principle

The DK859 panel meter works by converting an analog input signal into a digital signal, and then displaying that digital signal on its analog display. The input signal can be either a single input or multiple inputs depending on the model.The first stage of operation is to convert the analog signal to digital. The analog signal is received from the input source and is initially converted into a PWM (pulse width modulation) signal by an A/D (analog to digital) converter. This digital signal is then processed by a microcontroller in order to produce the desired output.Once the digital signal is received and processed, it is sent to the display. The display is typically an LCD (liquid crystal display), although it can also be an LED (light emitting diode). The LCD or LED is then driven by digital circuitry to display the desired reading.
