Application Field of DL4002-TP

Working Principle of DL4002-TP

DL4002-TP series is the actual working part of the rectifier diode. The rectifier diode is a two-terminal semiconductor device that uses the characteristics of the PN-junction diode to realize the conversion between AC and DC.

When the DL4002-TP falls into forward bias, the electrons can move freely from N material to P material and form a current, thus realizing the conversion from AC to DC. When the DL4002-TP falls into reverse bias, the free electrons can not move from the N material to P, thereby blocking the current flow and achieving the conversion from DC to AC.

DL4002-TP can also be used as a switch that can control current by controlling the forward bias and reverse bias of PN junction. When the PN junction is forward biased, electrons flow from P to N and form a current loop, forming a closed circuit.

When the PN junction is reverse biased, the gap between the P and N region expands, so there are no free electrons to form a current loop, forming an open circuit. In this way, DL4002-TP can be used as a switch or a rectifier diode.
