The memory memory controller supports both DDR3 and DDR4 memories, and provides up to 1 terabyte of system memory. It also provides support for unbalanced and extended DRAM commands. The media access controller enables the SoC to drive and process up to 18 ports of Gigabit Ethernet with support for XGMII, SGMII, and 1000 Base-T for host interface applications. It also supports up to 8 ports of 19.2Gbps SerDes and multirate operation. The register transfer file manager provides flexible register access management, with support for register sizes up to 256-bits and up to 8 multi-level registers. It also provides access and mapping to system scoped registers and memory and control registers. The controller provides system control, including support for I2C, SPI, UART, and GPIO interfaces. It also provides user space interrupt handling, power and reset management, system-level timing control, and an on-chip oscillator. The DLP470TEFXJ system-on-chip also supports multiple interfaces, including PCIe Gen3x4, DisplayPort, Audio, USB 2.0, UFS and a range of peripherals. The combined components enable the SoC to drive and process a range of applications such as high performance telecommunications, audio/video processing, server and storage, and multimedia applications.
