Film Capacitors

Film capacitors, also known as plastic film capacitors or film dielectric capacitors, are capacitors that use a thin plastic film as the dielectric. Their physical dimensions can range from minuscule surface-mount devices less than 0.2 in. (5mm) in length to large power factor correction (PFC) capacitors which can be around 22 in. (56cm) tall.
