Common Mode Chokes are inductive filters used to help reduce and/or eliminate common mode noise currents in power or signal circuits. The DLW5ATH450TQ2K is a Common Mode Choke specifically designed to meet the application demands of high data rates and high power levels. It is a radial leaded wire-wound chip inductor of 45uH +-20% tolerance at 100KHz, 0.3A. It is constructed using a split ferrite core carefully designed to provide good noise attenuation across a wide frequency range (20KHz to 2GHz). The individual layers of the choke allow for the simultaneous reduction of both common and differential mode noise. The total core insertion loss across the entire frequency range is reasonably high, making it an ideal component for use in many high-speed data transmission applications.
This type of Common Mode Choke is also distinguished by its small size (5mm by 5mm by 4.5mm) and its excellent EMI suppression capabilities.
