The DPP202A000 is one of the latest available offerings from Evaluation Boards – Expansion Boards, Daughter Cards category. It is a mid-range incorporated DDR3 multiplexer, deskew and equalizer solution when differential signals are its inputs and outputs. It is a cost-effective solution for DDR3 Clock ladders, and multi-level programmable DLLs in digital video timing applications. This evaluation board works on a range of industrial as well as commercial products like IT, digital set top boxes, cameras, modems etc.
The board supports up to 160 differential I/O pairs and is USB powered, allowing easy connection to PC systems. It provides up to 2GB of DDR3 support, and has a wide operating voltage range from 1.2V to 1.35V, a data rate which is up to800Mbps, and a wide range of frequency between 5MHz to 400MHz. The board also features a power management system, adjustable by a Voltage Regulated Module (VRM), and selectable data bus width, including 18 bits, 16 bits, and 8 bits.
The board incorporates a low-noise and ultra-low jitter digital clock source to ensure reliable and accurate timing. The board also has an adjustable Step Drawer Module (SDM), which provides for an easy to read and adjust output frequency for better signal integrity. The SDM also allows users to customize clock signal output timing independently of the main processor clock speed.
