DRV2511Q1EVM is an automotive-grade motor driver evaluation and demonstration board and kit, developed to demonstrate the features of DRV2511Q-EP gate driver ICs. It provides power and control to popular DC brushless motors, such as BLDCs, stepper motors and fan motors. The DRV2511Q1EVM allows users to evaluate the ability of the DRV2511Q-EP to minimize cross-conduction current, achieve higher efficiency, and control many motors simultaneously.

The DRV2511Q1EVM features a robust DC-DC driver support circuit, capable of supplying the power required for up to 18 channels of driving. The device incorporates over-voltage protection, current-limit protection, and PWM pulse-width modulation, and is especially designed for wide-temperature automotive applications. It is capable of providing up to 3A continuous drive current, and 7A peak current.
