The DS1339U-2+T&R is an improved high-performance clock that provides timed and real-time capabilities in a single integrated design. It is a stand-alone, surface-mount, real-time clock and crystal oscillator module that operates from a single 3.3 volt power supply. Combined with a real-time clock, the DS1339U-2+T&R is also capable of providing accurate synchronization of system clocks and providing precision timing information for applications such as embedded systems, telecommunications and industrial automation.
Application Field
The DS1339U-2+T&R is ideally suited for applications in which real-time clock synchronization and timing are required. It is highly accurate, with a time keeping accuracy of 25ppm over an operating temperature range from - 40 °C to 85 °C. Working Principle
The DS1339U-2+T&R is a stand-alone clock and crystal oscillator module, with an integrated time base and two independent real-time clock/calendar blocks.
