Working Principle

VCC is the operating voltage input, while EN is the enable input. The device has two outputs, RESET and POWER-GOOD. If a fault condition is detected, the RESET output is asserted low and the device works to reset the system’s operation to a safe state.The POWER-GOOD output of the DS1832 is typically connected to a power-on reset or watchdog timer to indicate when the power supply is stable, or if there is a brownout or overvoltage condition.
