DS21348G is an integrated high-speed communication control circuit designed for telecom, networking and other communication related applications. It provides from 16 channels of high-speed point-to-point line control, providing all the components needed for full duplex communication over a high-speed point-to-point transmission line.The main component of this system is a linear digital signal processor (DSP). The main application of the system includes high-speed data transmission, video transmission, audio transmission, remote device control and digital signal, etc. In addition, the application also includes camera control, power line communication and distributed control applications that require high-speed data transmission on point-to-point lines. The basic working principle of DS21348G is based on the principle of an asynchronous serial communication. The serial data structure of it operates under the master/slave principle. The main component of the system is the DSP. It acts as a master unit, which can transmit data to a slave unit over a single wire. The signals transmitted between the master and slave are digitally encoded and thus requires no additional software for communication.
