DS34LV86TMX Interface - Drivers, Receivers, Transceivers
The DS34LV86TMX is an 8-bit dual driver/receiver Transceiver that is manufactured by Texas Instruments. It is capable of working in both the bi-directional (BDC) and single-directional (SDC) modes. The DS34LV86TMX is designed to be a cost-effective solution for the transmission of digital data between two devices. It can be used in applications where up to 8 bits of data must be transmitted simultaneously in both directions.The DS34LV86TMX is composed of two drivers in a single package. The first driver is used for transmitting data in both directions, while the second driver is used only for receiving. Both drivers have separate outputs and are operated in parallel. This allows the transfer of data in both directions, while maintaining the bidirectional characteristics of the Transceiver.The DS34LV86TMX is a differential full-duplex Transceiver, meaning it can receive and transmit data at the same time. It has a differential output impedance of 18 Ω in the bi-direction mode and 12 Ω in the single-direction mode. The Transceiver can also switch between the single-directional and bi-directional modes as required to support a variety of applications.The DS34LV86TMX has a two-wire Serial Bus interface (I2C/SPI) which enables easy communication with both its transmitting and receiving function. The Transceiver also integrates an isolation voltage level shifting circuit which allows it to be used with devices of different supply and logic levels.The DS34LV86TMX is powered by two or three 3.3V to 5V supplies. It has an on-chip charge pump that generates a negative VBB voltage for the receiving function. The maximum supply current is typically 250mA in the bi-directional mode, making the Transceiver an energy-efficient choice for many applications.The DS34LV86TMX supports a wide range of data rates, ranging from 10kbps to 10Mbps.
