DS34LV87TM/NOPB Application Field and Working Principle
The DS34LV87TM/NOPB is a dual rail-to-rail octal bus transceiver designed for use as a 1-of-8 translator/buffer for both 3.3V and 2.5V busses. It has an enable input (DE) to allow enable/disable control of all eight channels. The enable allows controlled transition of the outputs from low to high without any additional external control. The duration of the transition is determined by the RC values connected to the enable pin. By controlling the transition, the powered device is protected against the damaging effects of high power dissipation.
The DS34LV87TM/NOPB provides automatic direction sensing with no external logic. The SELn pin is an input signal, connected to the signal high part of the circuitry.
