Working Principle

The device operates from a single 2.9 V to 5.5 V supply and provides ESD protection up to ±8 kV.

The transceiver is based on a CAN 2.0A/B controller, which is compliant with the CAN Physical Layer 2.0A/B standard. At the physical layer, it encodes and decodes data for transceiver operation and signal conditioning.
