The DS91M047TMAX is an advanced octal T-bus driver/receiver with Low-Voltage Differential Signaling (LVDS) technology. It is an integrated solution combining a full range of LVDS bus/port drivers and receivers in a single device. The nine ports (eight ports plus one port for the sideband current supply) can be connected to any type of LVDS-based T-bus, such as an asynchronous Memory T-Bus (AMTB).

The DS91M047TMAX can drive up to eight pairs of LVDS signals, with data rates up to 2.5Gbps, with a total differential output power of up to 100dB. It can also receive up to eight pairs of LVDS signals, with data rates up to 2.5Gbps, with a total input power of up to 95dB.

In addition, the DS91M047TMAX has the added feature of a sideband current supply that can provide up to 3A of output current for systems requiring more than the 5A maximum output current. This additional current supply can be used as a supplemental power source for devices that require extra power.

The DS91M047TMAX is also designed to maintain signal integrity even in noisy environment by implementing several signal integrity features. These features include programmable equalization, de-skew, pre-emphasis, equalization, jitter attenuation and clock signal extraction.
