The DS99R105VSX/NOPB is an integrated serializer/deserializer (SERDES) solution designed to optimize long-reach systems in serial communication applications. It combines high performance, low power and low latency to extend system reach up to 10.5 Gbps over differential or single-ended mediums. In modern communications systems, a SERDES is the bridge between the digital data signals of the system core and the analog signals used in the interface medium. In addition, the DS99R105VSX/NOPB offers programmable output amplitude, programmable de-emphasis, as well as low-jitter clock-channel synchronization. The device also supports optional driver-disable and receiver-disable modes, which allow it to enter a reduced-power standby mode when not in use.
