When the oscillator is in a stable working state, the circuit round-trip delay time is nearly equal to the period τ of the output oscillation signal. When the frequency of the oscillator is higher than fC, the output frequency fE is determined by fC, and the oscillator is said to be in the phase-locked state. When fE increases to a certain level, the phase-lock loop will be locked again, and its frequency is determined by the external RC network, so the frequency can be accurately controlled.Conclusion
