The DSC2311KI2-R0058T, produced by SiTime Corporation, is one such oscillator, providing excellent performance and reliability in the most demanding of applications.This oscillator, which is available in two different frequencies (25MHz and 30MHz), offers excellent performance and stability. The oscillator boasts a frequency stability of ±10 ppm over a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C, and a minimum aging rate of 0.1 ppm/yr. Additionally, the DSC2311KI2-R0058T offers a low start up time of only 500µs and a low jitter of 3.3ps. The DSC2311KI2-R0058T is also highly configurable, providing customers with the flexibility to choose from a wide range of output formats. The oscillator is able to be configured for either the following: HCMOS/TTL, free-running or crystal oscillator, differential or single-ended output (either complementary or non-complementary). Furthermore, the output enable/disable can also be configured, allowing customers to easily control the oscillator’s output as needed. The working principle of the DSC2311KI2-R0058T is very simple. The crystal is connected to an electronic circuit, which transforms the crystal’s vibration signals into output signals at a specific frequency.
