Working Principle of DSS1XPFAA50X

The DSS1XPFAA50X is a combination of two female contacts and a ground contact. The female contacts provide power or signal line to the various pins of the D-sub connector. The ground contact, which is at one side of the connector, is used for providing stable electrical contact with the other equipment or devices.The female contact pins, which are also referred to as “pins”, are made from a metal material like brass. These “pins” are cut or stamped out into various shapes and sizes depending on the application. The female contacts are crimped into the male ends of the D-sub connector and the ground contact is soldered to ensure a good and long lasting electrical connection. Once the female contacts and the ground contact are connected to the D-sub connector, it makes an electrical connection between the pin and the conductor cables. This connection is maintained due to a spring mechanism between the pin and the conductor cables. The spring mechanism ensures that the connectors remain connected even in case of vibration and movement of the equipment.
