The device is mounted directly onto the panel using the included mounting hardware and can be used to indicate a machine or circuit status, such as start/stop, maintenance alert, overload, or alarm conditions. The device has a housing constructed of UL94-V0 rated flame retardant ABS plastic and is rated IP65 for protection against dust and water.The device is equipped with an advanced solid state circuit board containing an array of indicator and pilot light components. This circuit board is powered by a low voltage AC or DC power source and is connected to the indicator/pilot light components by a flexible lead. When the power is supplied, either directly from the power source, or through an intervening control device, such as a relay or contactor, the appropriate indicator or pilot light component is energized.The DX1090/YL incorporates two integral circuits, one for each color of the indicator/pilot light. The operation of the individual circuits is determined by the voltage applied to the device, with different colors being illuminated depending on the operating voltage. For example, when the voltage is 0-95 volts, the RED indicator will be illuminated, while when the voltage is 96-1000 volts, the GREEN indicator will be illuminated.The device also features an LED test button, allowing the user to manually activate the indicator/pilot light to ensure that it is functioning properly.
