The E5CN-Q2LU AC100-240 is a controller designed for temperature control applications in various IT and industrial settings. The controller can be used for controlling temperatures as high as 200°C and as low as -20°C, and also provides alarm functions for temperature over/under range protection. The E5CN-Q2LU AC100-240 features automatic tuning to ensure temperature accuracy and temperature stability, a high set-point resolution for precise temperature control, and excellent RTD (resistance temperature detector) linearity for accurate measurement of temperature.The controller works on the principle of negative feedback, wherein it measures the current temperature and compares it to a set-point (desired) temperature. If the current temperature is lower than the set-point, the controller’s output is increased until the two readings match. Conversely, if the current temperature is higher than the set-point, the output is reduced until both readings match. This process is repeated indefinitely, ensuring that the current temperature remains as close as possible to the set-point.The controller also has several input and output options, allowing it to be easily integrated with a variety of temperature control systems. It has two analog input channels — one for the sensing element (typically a resistance temperature detector or thermocouple) and one for external set-point control — and one relay output channel which can be used for direct or PID control. It also has a reversible output feature which allows it to be used for both heating and cooling applications.The controller also features a bright LCD display for displaying the current temperature, set-point, and other information, as well as a keypad for entering parameters and setting up alarms. It is housed in a compact, lightweight, and robust plastic enclosure, making it ideal for demanding industrial environments.The E5CN-Q2LU AC100-240 is an essential part of any temperature control system, providing highly accurate temperature control and alarm functions with a minimum of fuss.
