The element is encapsulated in an anodized aluminum housing and is mounted on a silicon diaphragm. The diaphragm is held in place by a stainless steel support plate which is hermetically sealed to provide protection against pressure and humidity fluctuations.The internal electronics are calibrated to the transducer element and provide compensation for thermal effects.
