EA-OEM-511 is an integrated evaluation board that is well-suited for embedded applications involving MCU, DSP, RAM and FLASH programming, a regulated power supply, and digital device connection. It is designed to be suitable for both academic and industrial use and provides a user-friendly means of access to integrated embedded functionality.The board is powered by a single +5V DC supply and can operate in temperatures ranging from -20 to +70 Celsius. It uses an 8051 microcontroller at its core, providing for up to 4 clock-cycles per instruction and with 16KB of Flash and 4KB of RAM at its disposal. The board also includes a variety of interfaces, including a parallel printer port, two serial ports, and 8-bit and 16-bit timer connections. In terms of I/O, it has 16 user accessible pins with programmable pull up and pull down resistors and 10 dedicated I/O pins with onboard LEDs. It includes dual CAN (Controller Area Network) connectivity and an 8-channel 12-bit ADC (Analog to Digital Converter).The board also has 8 digit LCD interface and additional plug-in memory cards for interfacing with a wide range of devices, such as USB, RS323/RS422 ports, and Ethernet.
