The EA6360US is an evaluation board designed for LED modulation drivers. It has a wide range of commercial and industrial applications, making it a versatile choice for various lighting projects. The evaluation board is designed for use with the Texas Instruments LM3430, a highly versatile current mode controller for narrow bandwidth PWM dimming of LEDs. The EA6360US is designed to make use of the LM3430’s flexible frequency response and internal topology, to minimize component count. It also includes a true current sink, allowing the feedback loop to be configured in either buck-boost or “boost-boost” inversion configurations.

The LM3430 is designed for high efficiency power supply design, with a 400mV minimum voltage drop at 1A or below, and a wide switching frequency range of 0.4MHz to 6MHz.
