EFM32ZG-STK3200 is a powerful evaluation board embedded with MCU, DSP and other devices.

This board is part of the EFM32 Zero Gecko family of microcontrollers and designed to deliver a powerful and efficient combination of performance, energy efficiency, and system integration. It features a set of discreet sensors and peripheral components that make it ideal for embedded applications, including motor control, energy management, and Internet of Things (IoT) designs.

The board has two Cortex-M3 cores running at up to 48 MHz and a DMA controller capable of out of order data transfers. This allows programs to run with less latency when receiving external interrupts and data from a variety of sources. A pair of 8-bit timers and two Enhanced Real-Time Timers (RTT) are included for time-sensitive tasks such as triggering events, counting, and providing time-based commands.

The board also includes a comprehensive selection of peripheral components, such as a 2-wire interface, pulse-width modulation (PWM), USART and I2C/SPI interfaces. Battery backed up real-time clock, LCD controller, and analog-to-digital converter (ADC) are also available as optional components.

The board also includes the Silicon Labs Wireless Gecko radio which supports various wireless technologies such as ANT, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and Zigbee, allowing for easy connectivity with various IoT devices.

In addition, the board offers a range of development tools, such as a 32kB bootloader, integrated and stand-alone debuggers, development boards with software libraries, and an open source software development kit (SDK). This allows for rapid development of projects utilizing the board.
