Working Principle
An optoisolator consists of an LED and a photodetector (phototransistor, photodiode or photoresistor) each on opposite sides of a small gap and attached to an integrated circuit or chip.The LED emits light when a pr-oper switching current is applied, and the light is detected by the photodetector on the other side.
