Working PrincipleThe working principle of the EL1014(TA)-G optoisolator is simple. Light energy from the input side is converted into electrical energy by the light-emitting diode (LED). This electrical energy then drives the output embedded transistor, providing electrical isolation. The EL1014(TA)-G has an integrated high-voltage gate-drive stages which prevents damage to the LED and provides lower power consumption. The optoisolator also has an integrated overvoltage protection voltage limiter which prevents damage from external overvoltage. Finally, it also features a low-power-loss opto-driver stage for better performance. ApplicationsThe EL1014(TA)-G optoisolator is suitable for a wide range of applications, including: Industrial Motor Control: The optoisolator provides maxium isolation between motor control circuits, allowing for higher reliability and safer operation.
