Additional conversion periods are employed to set the remaining bits in order. The output of the ADC is then used to produce digital video signals for further processing.

In addition to its data acquisition role, the EL1883IS-T7 can also be used to perform digital signal processing tasks, such as filtering. This allows for the analog input signal to be filtered and conditioned by an external circuit before the ADC stages. This not only allows for more accurate digital conversions of the video signal, but also reduces noise levels generated during the data acquisition process.
