The EL5172IY is an operational amplifier (op amp) specifically designed with a low 1/f noise corner and excellent offset voltage performance. The unit features an offset voltage tracking characteristic of 10µV/°C, making it suitable for use in continuous temperature measurement applications.

The EL5172IY op amp is available in a dual version (EL5172IYZ-B) or single version (EL5172IY-B). The operating temperature range of the device is -40°C to +85°C. It is an ideal solution for sensor measurement applications, with excellent unity gain stability and a low noise floor. The EL5172IY-B is available in the tiny SOT-23-6 package, facilitating small board space.

Working Principle:

The EL5172IY is a low noise, low power op amp designed with excellent offset voltage performance. The input stage of the device is matched to achieve a gain drift of less than 10µV/°C. In addition, the low noise corner of 400Hz makes the EL5172IY suitable for high frequency signal handling applications. The unit features a low current draw of 1-2mA, and a high input impedance of 50TΩ. The rail to rail out feature of the amplifier also simplifies complex designs, and the integrated over-voltage protection efficiently protects the input stage in the event of accidental voltage spikes.

The EL5172IY amplifiers feature excellent gain bandwidth, low -3dB bandwidth of 1.84MHz, and excellent phase margin of 85°.
