EL5175ISZ is a linear amplifier that is specifically designed for instrumentation applications and serves as an ideal OP amp, buffer amp, and feedback amplifier. The device integrates three functional blocks in its overall architecture – a voltage–to–current converter, a low–noise voltage amplifier stage, and an output current amplifier stage. It offers high accuracy and a low input bias current, which makes it ideal for offsetting and noise–sensitive applications. Additionally, it is also equipped with a slew rate limiting circuit for added protection.

The EL5175ISZ features a high–performance linear amplifier that has high open–loop gain, low output voltage offset and excellent common–mode rejection. This makes it ideal for high–sensitivity, precision instrumentation type applications.

The device also features a high–performance, low noise voltage amplifier stage. This stage contributes to improved settling time and better low noise performance. The device exhibits a wide supply voltage range of 8.0V to 24V, and it supports a voltage range of 0.2V to 7.8V. However, the output current of the amplifier is limited to 7.8mA. The output voltage swing is limited to 0.4V to 7.4V.

The EL5175ISZ also provides a fast power–up time of 80µs and an excellent input/output offset voltage of less than 5mV. In fact, the amplifier further accommodates a comprehensive sleep mode, including current consumption of 200nA (maximum), enabling some kind of power saving.

The amplifier\'s low input bias current (1nA typical) makes it suitable for very low–level signal amplifi­cation, in general and medical/surgical instrumentation applications. Furthermore, since it has very low input bias current and low output noise, it provides high common mode rejection performance.
