EL5192ACWZ-T7A, is a two-channel low-power, low-noise operational amplifier (op-amp) ideal for a variety of linear amplification and measurement applications. This device operates with a common-mode input voltage range of 4.0 V to 20 V extending power-supply-rail operation and configurable output current limiting provides flexibility for a wide range of applications. This amplifier provides excellent accuracy, very low DC offset, and extremely low noise for both single-ended and differential applications.

Working Principle

The EL5192ACWZ-T7A consists of two input stages, a gain stage, a reference stage, and two output stages, all connected in a differential pair as shown in the figure below. The two input stages consists of CMOS transistors stacked to form an inverting input stage and an additional non-inverting stage. These factors provide differential gain, low offset and high common mode rejection ratio. The gain stage uses two transistors in a cascaded configuration with the first transistor providing common mode rejection. The gain stage is followed by the reference stage, which provides a reference voltage for the output transistors. The output stage consists of two transistors that provide current mirroring of the input voltage and is followed by a current limiter which limits the output current and hence the output voltage.
