The EL5411 IR is a high performance, general-purpose linear instrumentation amplifier for signal-conditioning applications. It is designed with the highest quality components available and provides a low noise signal path with minimal distortion. The EL5411IR is ideal for signal-conditioning in industrial and instrumentation applications, as well as for medical electronics, audio and video systems, automotive electronics, and other demanding applications.
The EL5411IR is a low noise, low power instrumentation amplifier with a voltage gain of up to 200dB and a current gain of up to 1000dB. It provides excellent signal-to-noise performance and low distortion. The EL5411IR operates from a dual power supply of +15VDC, +15VGnd, -15VGnd, and -15VDC. It can be used in single-ended, differential, or balanced mode, providing versatility, high-performance, and low-power operation.
The EL5411IR features two wide-bandwidth, low-noise input PNP transistors with a 6MHz bandwidth, and two wide-bandwidth, low-noise OP-amps with a gain bandwidth product of up to 24 MHz. The differential inputs of the EL5411IR provide excellent common-mode rejection ratio (CMRR) for signal conditioning applications requiring high signal accuracy. Additionally, the EL5411IR\'s input circuitry utilizes low noise and high open-loop gain to minimize distortion, allowing it to achieve signal-to-noise performance of 91dB typical.
The EL5411IR is designed with a low frequency roll-off and is protected by a triple-redundancy ESD protection circuit. A shielded power supply minimizes electrical noise and ensures exceptional signal reproduction. The EL5411IR is also highly immune to thermal interference with its advanced thermal management system.
The EL5411IR is exceptionally versatile. It supports both single-ended and differential inputs, which can be connected to the amplifier inputs or combined in a loop using the differential inputs of the EL5411IR to compensate for unbalanced input impedances. In single-ended mode, the inputs are selected automatically depending on the load impedance. This allows the EL5411IR to perform as a virtual gain adjust amplifier.
The EL5411IR is a highly reliable instrumentation amp with outstanding performance resulting in superior signal-to-noise performance and low distortion along with excellent CMRR and low input voltage noise levels. It is suitable for use in sensitive applications where long term operation and high accuracy are required. It is capable of providing signal-conditioning for a wide range of applications including medical, automotive, industrial, and audio/video applications.
