The ELFH14150 comprises of two parts; the interconnect body and the terminal screw. The terminal screws are securely connected to the body and feature one solder anchor, one support anchor and one grounding anchor. The body section is made from thermally conductive plastic for improved heat dissipation.
The design of the terminal block allows for either soldering or screw types of connection. The solder connection is made through the three anchors on the body while the screw connection is made through the securely held screw. Both the soldering and the screw connection accommodate the same type of plug and wire size.
The working principle of the ELFH14150 is quite simple. The terminal screw is inserted through the body and tightened using the appropriate tool. After this connection is made, a plug is inserted into the open hole in the side of the body.
